Fireplace Doors

While some may consider fireplace doors to be an accessory for a fireplace, we consider them a necessity.  Fireplace doors are different from mesh screens; they are usually constructed from glass.  Doors protect the surrounding hearth from flying embers and debris.

If your fireplace did not have doors when you purchased it you may have to have them custom measured and ordered as they must fit properly around the fireplace.  The glass doors will be set within a framework that you can customize to fit your décor.  Door framework is available in many finishes such as polished brass or brushed silver.

A word of caution about glass fireplace doors; they are very hot when the fireplace is in use.  Make sure that you keep small children and pets well away from the area to avoid accidents.  Even when the fire has burned down the doors will remain hot for quite a long time.
